Real Talk

Let’s talk about the things people don’t always say out loud.

💬 What if I leak?

It happens. To a lot of people. It might feel embarrassing in the moment, but it’s normal. Wearing the right products for your flow and checking in during the day can help, but even then—accidents happen. You’re still okay.

👀 How can I prevent leaks or handle them if they happen?

Stay a step ahead—change your pad or tampon regularly and use the right absorbency for your flow. If you’re unsure, layering (like a liner or period underwear) helps. If a leak happens, it’s okay. It’s usually less noticeable than you think—tie a jacket around your waist, clean it up when you can, and keep it moving.

🩹 What if I don’t have supplies?

You’re not stuck. You can ask a friend, a teacher, or the school nurse—people are usually more understanding than you expect. Even using tissue temporarily can help until you get what you need.

🌷 What if I feel weird about all of this?

That makes sense. This is new, and your body is changing. It can feel confusing, uncomfortable, or even frustrating. Give yourself time.
